HP Photosmart Premium Fax Satisfies Amateurs And Professionals Alike
Ordinarily, inkjet photo printers wouldn't fulfill all the needs of amateur photo hobbyists and professional photographers these days, but the HP Photosmart Premium Fax is far from ordinary. It's a printer that can keep up with the constantly evolving and imaginative ways users come up with to transfer their photos. The HP Photosmart Premium Fax combines a fax machine, an inkjet printer, a scanner, and copier all into one $270 dream machine. Made especially for casual photographers and home business professionals, the HP Photosmart Premium Fax does its job quite well with an automatic document feeder, two-sided printing, wireless connection and an interactive control panel for direct editing that allows the printer to work independently with digital cameras. Almost nothing is missing from the HP Photosmart Premium Fax and even with the high cost of refilling its ink cartridges, it's perfect for anyone looking for an All-in-One printer. It's more than capable of handling the needs of students, photographers and professionals alike.
Features of the HP Photosmart Premium Fax
Seemingly taken from one plastic block, the HP Photosmart Premium Fax has rounded corners and smooth indentations. Its appearance rejects the generic boxy shape rival inkjet printers such as the Kodak ESP 5 cling to and includes a glossy white finish palette with hints of blue on the side handles. Weighing 23lbs and measuring 19in. tall x 18in. wide x 23in. deep. With everything included, the HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One printer is compact enough to fit nicely in most home offices. It is however a bit heftier than Kodak's line of printers, which have noticeably slimmer footprint.
The HP Photosmart Premium Fax includes an automatic document feeder on top which allows the user to load as many as 50 sheets of paper at a time in a variety of sizes which can be copied or scanned to the printer's memory and transferred later to computer. The scanner bay cover lifts open, but the scanner unfortunately doesn't feature a hinge which would assist in scanning larger books or documents.
Users must look down at the primary control panel because of the awkward angle it's positioned in. Fortunately, its 2.4 inch LCD screen can be moved to a more comfortable position. The HP Photosmart Premium Fax's LCD may seem inadequate compared to the Epson Artisan 800's impressive 3.5 inch LCD, but this printer's control panel includes nearly everything required to work completely free of the computer.
The HP Photosmart Premium Fax brings such an astounding array of features that it can satisfy the needs of students, professionals or photographers. Its small size doesn't take up much room, but it's a bit larger than I'd prefer. Its interactive control panel allows this printer to act completely independently of a computer. Overall, I'd say the features and results make it worth the price.
